For the Sinful

"I have done so much bad in my life... there is no way He could still love me. There is no way He could forgive me... what I have done is unforgiveable"

God disagrees.

"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23

"'Come now, let us settle the matter,' says the Lord. 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow...'" - Isaiah 1:18

The sins of your past cannot separate you from the love of God; they cannot deprive you of His blessings; they cannot prevent you from basking in the sweetness of His love in eternity and even now.

Only your clinging to them can do that. He is the almighty and eternal God Who became man to shed every drop of His blood for you. Next to this sacrifice, your greatest sins are as straw cast into a mighty fire; not a trace of them can hope to survive. He is waiting for you to cast them into that fire, that abyss of His mercy, for He will not force you to do so.

Distrust alone makes us hold onto these sins instead of letting the fire of His love utterly annihilate them, for that distrust causes fear...

  • Fear that God may not be good after all. But He is, for if there were anything but infinite and perfect goodness in Him, you would not be receiving the grace of inhaling your next breath. Yet as you now read your breath continues, so never doubt His goodness toward you, His beloved child.

  • Fear that you won't be strong enough to live without the support of these sins; without being able to resort to promiscuity, drugs, exploitation, crime, or any addiction. But He will provide the grace, and you will conquer! And if you fall again, He is always there to pick you up through His Divine Mercy, and He will not love you on ounce less than before you fell.

  • Fear of what others may think if you make this change. But He is the one who made you and loves you more than does any other, and it is only His approval that you need. You will feel that approval through the testimony of a clear conscience as you lay down your head on your pillow at night with a peace that surpasses all understanding, and that is a consolation far beyond compare with anything you now receive from others.

He tells us "Do not be afraid. Just believe." Your heart is free. Have the courage to follow it.

See these words that Christ Himself spoke to St. Faustina. You need not doubt them for one moment; these revelations are as trustworthy as can be. Jesus truly did reveal all of this to a simple nun in the 1900s. Read them, believe them, and let your anxiety melt away as you commit to, from this day forward, trust in Jesus.

“I desire trust from My creatures. Encourage souls to place great trust in My fathomless mercy. Let the weak, sinful soul have no fear to approach Me, for even if it have more sins than there are grains of sand in the world, all would be drowned in the un-measurable depths of My mercy.”

“Tell [all people], my daughter, that I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust , I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls.”

“Let the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy. They have the right before others to trust in the abyss of My mercy…..Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscrutable .
